Do Video Web Sites Really Get Good Traffic?
I'm sure you know how popular video web sites are today. I have to admit, I was not a video fan this time last year. I didn't want to waste my time watching some worthless video put together by some idiot.
I would rather read information than watch a video that contained the same information.
Online experts kept saying that Video was going to be huge soon, an if you were not a part of the "video age" in your marketing, training and traffic generation methods, you would get left behind.
I really don't know when it happened, but I am now an online video supporter. I guess I have been conditioned to not only accept online video, but to expect it and to enjoy it.

Stats for January 2008
As you can see the first traffic stats recorded for this site was January 5th. I have done nothing to create traffic to this site. I have not submitted it to search engines, I have not used any Web 2.0 techniques to generate traffic, and I have not bought any sort of traffic.
This traffic is 90% search engine traffic from Google and Yahoo.
I'm assuming this site got indexed by Google because it contained a link from http://videoclipminisites.com . Once indexed, the site took on a life of its own with no intervention from me.
As you can see this traffic has been on a steady increase, and I see no reason for it to fall off, and it took no work from me to get that traffic.
